Introduction

The Lord God has established many benefits for us at becoming one of His own by Salvation through Jesus Christ.  These are all wonderful – He withholds no good thing from us.  However, there is that part that must never be overlooked or taken for granted…the Godhead, that is, God Himself.

The greatest benefit we have is Salvation – having accepted and confessed Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior, which enables us to have fellowship God.  Now God, in His great love and affection – He cannot help it, it is who He is…Love – has set things in order so we can enjoy intimacy with Him.  This is to walk with Him, talk with Him as a dear Friend…yes, just as Enoch, we can also.

This by no means indicates that we are to disregard any reverence for the Lord…He is God, and there in none higher.  Hallowed is His Name, to be regarded as holy.  To be able to regard Him in the manner due Him as well as become as close in fellowship as Enoch, we must become acquainted with Him; to learn about Him, His likes and dislikes; to learn His nature and characteristics, which is to learn His Name.

The objective for this writing is to introduce the Godhead, so you may begin your journey in intimacy with the One who loves you so dearly, that He gave of Himself so you could have life and have it more abundantly.
