How this book came to be…
I had been reading the Bible, attending church on Sunday, and the mid-week service of Bible Study; but there still seemed to be something missing. I asked God, “How do I get ‘it’ from a head knowledge and understanding of Him to a heart knowledge and understanding?” I was doing all I knew to do, (even serving as a lay minister at church at the time). However, there remained a deep place within me that knew there had to be something more.

So, I asked God to help me get it; to help me know Him…really know Him. And faithful to His Word and who He is, He not only heard my request but also responded, causing revelation to begin. From that point my heart was afire with adoration for the One who loved (and loves) me so much that He gave of Himself (through Jesus Christ) so I could have that type of up close and personal fellowship with Him.
Receiving all this awesomeness became too much for me to contain and keep for myself, and my heart’s desire changed to be as His – for people to come to know Him, fellowship with Him, walk and converse with Him as a lifestyle, just as Enoch had done. This developed into my passion, my goal, which only grew as I set out on this course – not as an overbearing mission of bullying people to accept God, but much rather as one inspired by His own great love and compassion.
It soon became clear that this is actually of His purpose for my life, which has led to the writing of this book, “Come…Getting Acquainted with the Godhead.” This is my first book, and I know there will be more. The process of completing this project is full of testimonies of the faithfulness of the Lord…it is done. Glory to God!
